Are you just starting the process of getting your home ready to sell? Are you worried about the outdated cabinets or window coverings? You don’t have to go through a long, extensive remodeling project to update your home in order to sell it. A few simple and inexpensive upgrades can make all the difference in making your home feel more current.
1. Update your hardware or fixtures. Whether your cabinet hardware is looking a bit worn and sad or your bathroom faucets are sporting that 90’s brass finish; investing in new fixtures can go a long way in making your home feel more up to date.
2. Another option that costs no money at all, is to simply change your furniture around. Personally, I love moving furniture and trying fresh layouts in my space. Sometimes a little Feng Shui is needed to see the room from a new perspective.
3. Lastly, I have a 2-for-the-price-of-1 suggestion. Update your window treatments and change out your throw pillows. Something as simple as removing those old blinds and replacing it with a trendy new curtain not only updates the space, but it can also make a room appear larger and brighter. Add in a few pops of color with new throw pillows and voila! You have a fresh and updated space that’s ready to wow Buyers!
