3 Ways to Update Your Beloved Furniture Without Buying New

With rising inflation and long lead times for custom orders, why not revamp furniture you already own? It will save you so much time, money and headaches. Using a few key pieces, a bit of creativity (don't worry, I got ya on that) and maybe a little elbow grease, we can refresh that stale space.

If it's in the budget, look at taking your favorite, or hand-me down antiques, and reupholstering them. If that's out of the question, I'm telling you.... Slipcovers have a come a long way from the bulky and boring options they used to have. From all range of colors and designs, you can cover just about any seating piece to create a stylish and functional addition to your redesign.

Don't throw away that old end table that's falling apart. Or that ancient chair that refuses to stay upright. There are ways to use them in your new space. For instance.... that old chair might make a unique and fun centerpiece as a throw pillow on your couch. That end table, can be recycled and used as a weathered and rustic frame or trivet for your kitchen. Just because it lost its original functionality, doesn't mean it can't be repurposed into something else amazing.

Taking the old and reviving it into something new and fun and functional can be so much fun. And it's better for the environment as well! Keep that extra waste out of our landfills and create something your whole family can enjoy for many years to come.

If you're ready to create a home you love, we would be delighted to help. Reach out to us, and let's chat about your furnishings.

Warmly,

Beth
